Sunny Beach Tops Travel Money's Costs Barometer

Bulgaria’s Sunny Beach topped the Post Office Travel Money Worldwide Holiday Costs Barometer for holiday destinations for prices of food and tourist items, measuring the costs of bottled water, a dinner for two, and other commodities. The study included 44 resorts all over the world.

The full cost of buying a bottle of water, coffee, cola, beer, a dinner for two, wine, insect repellent, and sun cream in Bulgaria’s Sunny Beach is put at €37.92. The closest second in Europe comes in Algarve, Portugal at €44.25. Outside of the continent, Japan sells these items for the price of €43.14 in Tokyo. The most expensive place in Europe was Nice, France, where you have to pay €106.45 for the package. Worldwide, Singapore’s China Town sells the items for €153.72. There’s a reported decrease in prices on 40 of the locations.
