31 Years from Stefka Kostadinova's Unbeatable World Record

On this day, 31 years ago, Stefka Kostadinova sets a world record in womens' high jump. The 209 centimeters record remains an unattainable peak for athletes since 1987. She is currently chairman of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee.

Her achievement is from the World Championship held at the Olympic Stadium in Rome and it became a national pride.
