The fee for issuing a temporary Bulgarian passport abroad is reduced by ¼ and thus the temporary Bulgarian passports issued abroad will cost EUR 50 instead of the current EUR 67, the government's press service announced.
The fees for each individual document, including the receipt of an application form of EUR 1 and the one collected on behalf of the Ministry of Interior - EUR 16, are dropped. There is also a reduction in the fee for the issuing of a criminal record for an application submitted abroad. So far, EUR 20 have been paid for this service, and the expectation is to be reduced to EUR 10.
The collection of fees through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the diplomatic or consular representations of the Republic of Bulgaria for the assistance of searching for a physical person are also dropped.
