Swedish Stillfront Group Acquired Bulgarian "Imperia Online" for €10 million

Swedish firm Stillfront Group has acquired the developer Imperia Online for €10 million. Stillfront’s acquisition buys out 100% of shares of the Bulgarian company. €5 million will be paid in cash while the other 50% will be paid via 269,412 newly issued shares in the company, which is traded on the Nasdaq First North.

"The acquisition is conditional upon certain trademarks having been duly registered with the Company between the date hereof and the date of completion of the acquisition," Stillfront noted.

"Imperia Online fits perfectly into Stillfront's growth strategy by broadening our portfolio of studios and games with characteristics that drive long-term gamer relations. Imperia Online is a leading developer and publisher with a solid and highly loyal user base. It is with pleasure that today I welcome Dobroslav, Moni, Cvetan, and the whole team of Imperia Online to the Stillfront family", says Jörgen Larsson, CEO, Stillfront in a press release.

From January to August 2018 "Imperia Online" generated €4.1 million in net revenue with a 48% operating margin. Across its portfolio of 25 titles, the company has more than 45 million users.

Stillfront operates through nine near-autonomous subsidiaries: Bytro Labs in Germany, Coldwood Interactive in Sweden, Power Challenge in the UK and Sweden, Dorado Online Games in Malta, Simutronics in the United States, Babil Games in UAE and Jordan, eRepublik in Ireland and Romania, OFM Studios in Germany and Goodgame Studios in Germany.
