"Ocado Technology" Opened Software Development Centre in Sofia, Bulgaria

"Ocado Technology" announced today the opening of its latest Software Development Centre in Sofia. The British Ambassador to Bulgaria, Emma Hopkins OBE, opened the new office. Over 60 software developers are already working on cutting-edge projects in the areas of robotics, machine learning, AI and simulation, data science, warehouse control, etc. Their number is expected to increase, was announced in the press release.

“The new software development center of Ocado is a great example of how a UK company can benefit from the advantages of Bulgaria as a business location,” said Emma Hopkins.

Ocado Technology develops world-leading software and systems: AI, Robotics, the Internet of Things, Big Data, and the Cloud and the company has six strategic hubs - one in the UK, two in Poland, one in Spain, and one in Bulgaria.

Ocado Technology has been working in Bulgaria since 2016 and so far has been operating the center with Questers. Now the British company will operate as a separate company in Bulgaria.
