Bulgarian Women Have the Lowest Life Expectancy in the EU

The British Health Service has published statistics according to which Bulgarian women are the last in the European Union regarding life expectancy. The ranking is based on Eurostat data. 

Spanish women live the longest, with UK longevity ranked 17th out of 28 EU nations, according to Public Health England’s annual health profile.

The average life expectancy of the British women is 83 years, but this is below the EU average overall. For the Spaniards, this indicator is just over 86 years old. The top three is complemented by France and Italy. At the bottom of the table are the Bulgarians with 78 years of average life, immediately after the Romanians, the Latvians and the Hungarians.
