Fuel Prices in Bulgaria Almost BGN 2.40/Liter

Prices of gasoline and diesel in Bulgaria are already higher than BGN 2.30/liter for petrol A-95 and ordinary diesel. A reference to specialized sites shows that the most expensive fuels are sold at petrol stations in the districts of Shumen and Blagoevgrad.

The "Fuelo" site data for August 8 shows that the country's average A-95 price was BGN 2.26/liter and 2.29/liter for diesel. In some places, however, gasoline varies from 2.20 to 2.34/liter, and diesel is up to 2.41/liter. Larger gas stations, such as OMV, ECO, Rompetrol, and Lukoil, maintain almost the same prices.

It is most profitable to load in the regions of Ruse, Yambol, Haskovo, Plovdiv, and Dobrich, as there some of the lowest prices in the country are maintained.

In the areas where Vesselin Mareshki has opened petrol stations - VM Petroleum, the fuel prices are significantly lower. There are a total of 17 petrol stations in the country and the prices are - BGN 2.09/liter of gasoline and diesel. They are retained, although the CPC imposed a fine on the company a few days ago because of price dumping.

In Sofia, the variety of prices for the main fuels is much more significant and the big traders are not influenced by the lower prices of their competitors.

Compared with other EU countries, gasoline and diesel in Bulgaria are the cheapest, but at the same time, they are melting most of the user's income. According to the accessibility indicator, Bulgaria is the last one in the EU and the average Bulgarian should spend 5.46% of his average daily wage of BGN 41 /EUR 20.96/ to buy a liter of gasoline.

1 EUR = 1.95583 BGN
