Bulgaria at the Final of the European Athletics Championship 2018

Bulgaria with a new hope for a medal from the European Athletics Championship.

Radoslava Mavrodieva is the first Bulgarian to qualify for the European Athletics Championship final 2018. She will fight for a medal in Berlin, Germany in the discipline shot put. Radoslava covered the qualification standard of 17.20 meters with her second attempt, sending the pot to 17.87 meters.

This will be the fourth European final for Mavrodieva, with her having one sixth place, one twelveth and one fifth.

This week, the Bulgarian swimmer Antani Ivanov ranked eighth in the 200-meter butterfly during the European Championships 2018.
