Dali, Picasso and Monet at the Street Art Festival 2018 in Staro Zhelezare, Bulgaria

The fourth edition of "Street Art Festival 2018" will gather again artists in the small village of Staro Jelezare, Bulgaria. The village has a population of fewer than 500 people. But tonight it will become an outdoor art gallery and the theme this year is the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.

The reason is that students from the University of Arts in Poznan have been visiting Staro Zhelezare for the fourth consecutive year to make it unusual and very similar to the streets of Manhattan. Using brushes, paints, and sprays, the students design incredible paintings on the streets of the village.

Their slogan is "All the artists come to the village". The idea comes from the artistic family Katarzyna and Ventsislav Piryankovi. Salvador Dali, Picasso, Chagall, Frida Kalo, Modilli, Polk, Bacon, and Monet already give smiles to the people from Gorno Zhelezare and their guests.

In 2015, Staro Zhelezare became the only village on the Balkans where the walls of the houses and the fences have world figures side by side with ordinary Bulgarians.

If you want to merge with this amazing combination of rural and modern life and experience something new, visit the village of Staro Zhelezare, Bulgaria.
