Costa Coffee Bought by Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola bought the popular Costa Coffee chain. Britains’ Whіtbrеаd Рlс. made a deal to sell the coffee Costa to Coca-Cola for $ 5.1 billion. After the sale, the company will focus on its business with the hotels Premier Inn in Britain and Germany, Money reported.

"Costa Coffee" was found in 1971. It has more than 2,400 places in Britain and other 1,400 in 30 more countries. Whitbread acquired the chain in 1995 when it has only 39 places opened.

The first café in Bulgaria was opened in the capital Sofia at the end of December 2006. Cafes can be found also in Varna and Plovdiv.

Coca-Cola has more than 200 brands and works in more than 200 countries.
