165 Migrants Caught Near the Turkish-Bulgarian Border

BTA reported that the Turkish border guard authorities caught over 165 migrants. They were trying to illegally cross the Turkish-Bulgarian border.

The migrants were divided into 8 groups to make it easier to cross the border. According to the latest information, the traffickers left them near the Kirklareli province, where the Turkish-Bulgarian border Dereköy /Malko Tarnovo is located, and they waited for sunset in order to take action.

Gendarmerie teams launched an operation in the area and were able to capture migrants from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, and Iran. In the interrogations, the migrants told the Turkish authorities that they wanted to go to Europe.
