Three Bulgarian Men Detained for Online Child Exploitation

The Ministry of Interior press center announced that during an investigation, three men were detained for online child exploitation.

On August 22, a 20-year-old man from Cherkovitsa village was detained for sharing video files in a group, containing brutal scenes of sexual abuse of children. On August 23, a 43-year-old man from Sevlievo was also detained with the same accusations. Moreover, a 39-year-old recidivist who was detained for rape in 2005 and two fornications in 2007 and 2008, was also captured. According to information from the Ministry of Interior, he has contacted via Facebook with over 300 girls aged between 12 and 13 years, making them real-time watching his sexual desires in front of their cameras.

To exchange their materials, users have used code words within short messages and links in Dropbox.
