Revenue from Sea Resorts in Bulgaria Increased by 18% in June

Data from the National Revenue Agency shows that the sales made on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast in June increased by 17.8% compared to the same month of the previous year. They were BGN 1.127 billion. The NRA explained that they still do not have data throughout the season.

The largest revenue leap was in the Primorsko shopping facilities - 75% on an annual basis, thus reaching BGN 15.5 million. In Kranevo the increase is by 57% and in Obzor - by 21%.

In the more popular among Bulgarian tourists cities like Nessebar the increase is 3% to BGN 92 million, in Sozopol - by 16% to BGN 17.9 million, and in Lozenets - 3.7% to BGN 2.8 million. In Sunny beach resort, the revenue is BGN 7.8 million, which is close to the amount in June last year. There is a drop in the revenue in Atia village (-3%) to BGN 500,000.

The NRA commented that the improvement of fiscal discipline is due to the increased presence of the employees of the NRA on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Moreover, some of the factors include the growth of the number of tourists, increased consumption, and others.
