Ryanair Cancels Four Flights Today

Today, four flights to and from Ryanair to Sofia are being canceled.

Flights from and to Brussels - Charleroi, and Berlin - Schonefeld have been canceled, the site of Sofia Airport reported.

The reason is related to the cabin crew strike. Ryanair crews from Ireland, Sweden, Belgium, and Germany are protesting and 73,000 passengers will be affected.

400 pilots of the airline are based in Germany, which represents about 10% of the total pilot staff.

Meanwhile, yesterday Wizz Air announced the operation of new direct flights from Sofia to Eilat, Israel.
