Bulgarian Became Part of the Legendary "Royal Ascot"

Royal Ascot is the UK's most popular sports event for horse racing, and for centuries the patron of the event has traditionally been the royal family. Gradually over the years, it has become a gathering, attended by the world's most stylishly dressed celebrities.

The story of the race began in 1711 when Queen Anna was on the throne. The event lasts for 5 days, and it is always hosted during the third week of June. The place - Berkshire, near Windsor Castle.

Only purebred horses can compete in competitions, and the dress code is strictly defined - an elegant dress with a specific length and high-heel shoes for the women, and for the men - a cutaway suit and a top hat. But that's not all - during the five days it is obligatory for the guests to have a different outfit for every day.

Her Majesty Elizabeth II, Prince Harry, and Duchess Meghan Markle, as well as other members of the royal family also attended the opening of the Royal Ascot 2018.

A different name, however, was distinguished at the opening and it was this of the only Bulgarian woman attending - Karolina Alexander, manager of one of the biggest online clothing stores - www.jancail.com. She was at the event in the company of her fiancée Emir Sarar, who is the heir of SARAR - one of the world's largest textile manufacturers.

This autumn they will launch a new fashion line which world premiere will be in Istanbul.
