Boyko Borisov Received the "Golden Plaque - European Personality of the Year" Award

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov was awarded the "Golden Plaque - European Personality of the Year" during an official ceremony in Sarajevo.

The Prime Minister received the prize for his personal commitment to economic cooperation in the region within the ongoing International Business Forum. Borisov commented that if there is peace in the region, there will also be investments and added that Bulgaria is currently investing in education and training.

The Prime Minister said that at the Thessaloniki Summit between Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, and Serbia, which took place yesterday, the possibility of transporting engagement between the Black Sea, the Adriatic, and the Aegean Sea was discussed and emphasized that transport, infrastructure, and digital connectivity should be developed in parallel.

He also commented that the improvement of the broadband Internet in each country would further boost the economy.
