The No-Confidence Motion: Rejected

The second vote of no confidence in the third government of Boyko Borisov was rejected by the National Assembly. The decision was taken with 104 votes "for" (from BSP and MRF parties) and 131 "against". For the vote to succeed, it must be supported by 121 deputies.

The motion of no confidence was submitted by BSP and got support from the MRF. The votes of the members from these two parties, however, were not enough. Debate on the vote of mistrust took place on Tuesday and lasted only an hour and a half, which is a record.

This is the second vote of no confidence, submitted by BSP, for the third cabinet of Boyko Borisov. The previous one was about the failure of the anti-corruption policy and was voted on January 25th.
