DM Denitsa Sacheva: Teacher's Profession is Part of the Future

The teachers who use digital technologies and teach their students to create responsible and ethical content through them will be the most wanted. They will receive the greatest recognition, said Deputy Minister of Education and Science Denitsa Sacheva in connection with the awarded creative teachers in the competition "Digital Ambassador in class". The event was held at the Cyber Security Laboratory, which is situated in the laboratory complex of Sofia Tech Park.

The twelve teachers will join the Digital National Coalition project and Google.org - e-Start@school, supported by the Ministry of Education and Science. It will train 450 teachers from nearly 200 schools in Northwestern Bulgaria.

Denitsa Sacheva: "Teacher's profession is part of the future". The aim of the Ministry of Education and Science is to make pedagogical specialities for the students as preferred as these in the field of technology. Undoubtedly, the need for everyone to have digital skills is a fact, due to the daily evolving of the devices. Demand for people to teach the others how to work with digital technologies will become bigger.

Google's first teachers - digital ambassadors were awarded by EU Commissioner for Digital Economy and Digital Society Mariya Gabriel and by Gergana Passy, President of the Digital National Coalition.
