Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov Arrives in Tel Aviv, Israel

Bulgaria's PM arrived at Tel Aviv earlier today. He was welcomed by Irit Lillian, the Israeli ambassador to Bulgaria. Borisov will visit Jerusalem to conduct a meeting with the chairman of the American Jewish Committee, David Harris. Bulgaria's PM will also take part in the plenary session of Global Conference of the American Jewish Committee.

Borisov's delegation will include the deputy PM Tomislav Donchev, the minister of education and science, Krasimir Valchev, and the mayor of Sofia, Yordanka Fandakova. Tomorrow, Borisov will meet with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, with Israel's President Reuven Rivlin, and the leader of the opposition party, Isaac Herzog. The premier will also meet with the president of the World Jewish Congress, Ronald Lauder.

Bulgaria's PM will also meet with representatives of the Bulgarian community in Israel. The ensemble of Nikolina Chakardakova will conduct a concert during the visit. Borisov will also visit Ramallah to meet Palestine’s Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah.
