Father of Child with Swastika Drawn on Chest Reacts to Media Attention

A swastika drawn on the chest of a child during a football match between the teams Levski and Slavia for the Cup of Bulgaria caused a scandal. After the father of the kid was questioned by the police, he spoke to the media, criticizing them for traumatizing his child.

The father, Georgi Galabov, claims he doesn’t know who drew the swastika on his son’s chest. He said: “I am a nationalist, there’s no problem, for me that’s not wrong.” Georgi turned to the journalists and said: “You traumatized my child!”

The father commented on the media craze surrounding his son: “The media made a big f*****g problem – 6 days you talk about kids that are 7 and 8 years old, that they were drawn. Why didn’t you show the Levski [transcription of the kid’s chest], and only the broken cross [swastika]? Enough of this nonsense!”

The father of the other boy from the notorious photo claimed that a stranger wrote and drew the symbols and transcriptions on the kids. This identity of this person remains unknown.
