Changed Migration Laws in Bulgaria

Bulgaria voted in changes to the law for migration. New directives concerning the rules for entrance and residency to Bulgaria.

The texts aim to improve migration and solve problems. Currently, this is a hot topic due to the lack of specialists on the Bulgarian market and the overall decline in population. Workers in scientific and charitable fields will have easier access to the country. People on seasonal posts will have an easier time getting into Bulgaria for the same job after their first work season into the country.

These changes are certainly a work-in-progress, as migration is currently one of the most important issues worldwide.

Valeri Simeonov of the United Patriots proposed that the demographic crisis of Bulgaria should be fought by attracting Bulgarian migrants from the former USSR back to their motherland.
