Atanas Skatov has Climbed Mount Cho Oyu

The Bulgarian mountaineer Atanas Skatov has conquered mount Cho Oyu in the Himalayas. Cho Oyu is 8188m and Skatov managed to climb it without an oxygen mask. Skatov is the first vegan who ever climbed Mount Everest.

The climb lasted for 13 hours and Skatov is now headed back to the base camp where he will decide whether or not he'll attack Everest for the third time. Skatov has already climbed Everest twice and now has a total of 8 mounts over 8000m in his record. Apart from Cho Oyu and Chomolungma the Bulgarian has conquered Gasherbrum II, Lhotse, Dhaulagiri, Makalu, Annapurna, and Manaslu.

And while Skatov is celebrating yet another successful expedition, the search for Boyan Petrov goes on.
