The US Pulled Bulgaria out of the "Black List" for Intellectual Property Protection

Bulgaria is removed from the so-called “black list” for intellectual property protection of USA after being part of it for five consecutive years. This is made clear by the published results of the annual review of the US Commercial Law on the State of Intellectual Property Rights Protection.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria commented that removing Bulgaria from the “black list” is an evaluation for the actual advancement of Bulgaria in the field of intellectual property and is a result of the years-long efforts of the Bulgarian embassy in Washington, DC and the Bulgarian institutions.

Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out that such a decision is a positive sign for the foreign investors in Bulgaria, in particular for the American high tech business and it is a reason for the strengthening of interest of the American businesses towards Bulgaria.
