100 Million Leva Revenue for Internet Marketing in Bulgaria for 2017

The market for web-based commercials is seeing more growth, with the revenue from Bulgaria surpassing 100 million leva for 2017.

This data was released by the Ipsos Marketing Research company during the IAB Bulgaria conference. Unsurprisingly, the largest players in this game are Facebook and Google,  receiving about 60% of the 100 million. The largest marketing customers in Bulgaria are companies that offer consumer goods and services.

Kaufland Bulgaria spent the most money, which happened for a first time in the list’s history, surpassing Procter & Gamble, the previous number 1 that’s out of the top 10 this year. Vivacom, the largest telecom company in Bulgaria, took the second place. Mondelez Bulgaria, a company mainly known for food products (mostly chocolates, cookies, and coffee) took the third place.

The Bulgarian branch of Telenor was also among the biggest spenders in Internet marketing in Bulgaria. The company was recently sold to PPF Group.
