Bulgaria's PM Claims Migration in Europe is Scaring the Populace

The Prime Minister of Bulgaria commented on the migration policy of the EU. He criticized the union for letting migrants that can’t be integrated and warned of the bad effect mass migration has on the native populace.

“We scared our populace”

Borisov gave his opinion of the current migrant situation in Europe: “Why did Brexit happen? Because the people got scared when they saw 40,000 souls at the tunnel.” Borisov asked why Germany couldn’t “create a government despite the fact its showered with money, the most social and powerful state? It’s because we scared our populace.”

Previously, Borisov suggested that the migration hotspots should be moved outside of the EU’s borders: “When I said the hotspots should be moved outside the EU as if I became the most inhumane person.”

During a recent meeting with the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Borisov also urged for reform of the migration laws in the EU, specifically the Dublin Regulation.
