Inercom Is Against the Bulgarian State Having a Part in the CEZ Deal

In an official letter to Reuters, the Bulgarian company "Inercom" claims that it is against the Bulgarian State meddling in the deal between them and the CEZ Group. After the company based in Pazardzhik acquired the Bulgarian branch of CEZ, many came to the conclusion that "Inercom" is not a company that can be trusted because of its sudden economic growth.

However, the company believes that government intervention will not be needed to guarantee the security of the Bulgarian people. In the letter, "Inercom" cites the Minister of Finance - Vladislav Goranov who, alongside with other experts, believes that the laws in Bulgaria give all the tools needed to ensure that the government can keep an eye on CEZ.

The letter addresses the financial part of the deal. While many speculated that Russian banks and off-shore companies were secretly financing the deal, "Inercom" claims that the money for the deal came from international banks, some of which don't have offices in Bulgaria.
