The President of Malta on a Visit in Bulgaria

The President of Malta Marie Louise Coleiro Preca was welcomed in Bulgaria by the Bulgarian President Rumen Radev. The official ceremony took place at the “Alexander Nevski” square in Sofia. After an exchange of greetings, the two Presidents laid flowers before the monument of the Unknown Soldier.

During her visit in Bulgaria, the President Preca and her Bulgarian colleague will discuss key topics of the European Union and make plans accordingly. Later on, Radev and Preca will both attend a Bulgarian-Maltese business forum which is part of the Bulgarian government’s policy toward encouraging small and medium business. Marie Louise Coleiro Preca has meetings with the Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and the Head of Parliament Tzveta Karayancheva scheduled for later in her visit.
