Bulgarian MP Warns that the new Labour law will only cause more Problems

The Bulgarian MP from BSP, Krasimir Yankov warns that the newly introduced labour law will only force more young Bulgarians to migrate in other countries.

The Bulgarian MP Krasimir Yankov has criticized the Prime Minister Boyko Borisov on his labour policy. The new labour law allows employers to freeze salaries and hire cheap workers from countries with a lower standard than the European. This way, a minority of business owners is being favoured on the expense of everyone else. Instead of working on solving the problem with unemployment, it will just become worse.

This reasoning is why Yankov criticized Boyko Borisov’s practice of meeting with Bulgarian communities all over the world, promising them a place in Bulgaria and easier approval of documentation, while destroying opportunities for the everyday working Bulgarian. Yankov added that instead of creating opportunities in the country, the new law would create the next wave of Bulgarians who will migrate abroad in search of a decent life.
