Bitcoin Mine gets Stolen in Blagoevrgrad, Bulgaria

A cryptocurrency mining unit was stolen on Saturday in Blagoevgrad. The robbery was not announced by the local police department. 

The robbery happened in the industrial part of the city sometime after 17 o'clock. The hardware was kept in a building that supposedly has private security. However, the robbers managed to turn off the alarms and the cut the power to the facility. The building has a bodyguard whose contract states his shift ends at 22h - the man has since been fired because he wasn't present at the time of the robbery. The police were alarmed immediately and shut down several streets but the thieves managed to escape nonetheless. The stolen hardware has an estimated price of over 200,000 BGN (€100,000) and consisted of 21 separate machines.
