Rising Interest towards Bulgarian Construction Materials in Greece
Veliko Turnovo, Bulgaria -
Bulgaria’s southern neighbor Greece has shown great interest towards Bulgarian construction materials. The reason for the sudden rise in demand is the booming construction industry in Greece.
Bulgarian companies whose work is related to construction have noted a rise in interest towards their materials coming from Greece. During 2017, there has been an 11% rise in production and export of construction materials for Greece. The most sought-after products are accessories and equipment for bathrooms, sanitary materials, chairs, ceramics, and others. The booming construction industry in Greece has been pointed as the main drive behind the increase.
The increase in demand hides great opportunities for the development of Bulgarian companies and market. If clients are satisfied with the products, this may lead to long-term relations from which both sides would benefit greatly. This year, Bulgaria had its first big, organized national presence at the Infacoma & Aquatherm, 2018 construction expo, where 7 small and medium manufacturers from the country could present their products. The successful participation of the Bulgarian group may give ground to other joint presentations of local companies.
