Bulgarian will Climb for a Medal at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires

Peter Ivanov is qualified for the final in the sport climbing at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires. The 18-year-old climber has found a place among the six finalists who will be fighting for a medal on October 10.

The Bulgarian took fourth place after the qualifications in the three compulsory disciplines - speed, difficulty, and boulder, even reaching the second position in the latter.

Meanwhile, the other Bulgarian hope for a medal in Buenos Aires - the tennis player Adrian Andreev, began with a victory in the couple’s tournament. He and his Australian partner Rinky Hijikata overpowered Philip Henning (South Africa) and Delma N'tcha (Benin) with 6:2, 7:6, bTV reported.
