The Victims of the Crash Near Svoge, Bulgaria Reached 20 People

The victims of the deadly crash near Svoge are now 20 after another one of the injured women died in Pirogov Hospital. Last week, one of the men who had been injured in the incident died in the former St. Anna Hospital, Mediapool reported.

The crash happened on August 25 - a bus full of passengers left the road and fell off the asphalt road below the level of the roadway at the exit of the city of Svoge. At the moment, the only accused is the bus driver who is on bail.

During the interview for bTV, the driver said, "I'm constantly thinking of these people. They were my friends. I can only imagine what must be like for their relatives. For the people who are still likely in hospitals. I am sorry for everything that happened".

The incident prompted the resignation of three Bulgarian ministers, who were quickly replaced.  Investigation of the fatal accident continues.
