Chief Architect of Sofia: Sanctions Would be Imposed in Case of Inconsistencies

The Municipality of Sofia announced that they will keep on the quality performance of the project they have paid for. This was said in an interview for Nova TV by the chief architect of Sofia, Zdravko Zdravkov, regarding the criticism of the renovation of the garden in front of "St. Sedmochislenitsi" and "Graf Ignatiev". He was categorical that if there were inconsistencies in the implementation, sanctions would be imposed.

The project has been going on for 5 years and has been a subject to many public debates. The Chief Architect demanded that the subject should be commented upon after the repair is fully completed.

He added that two types of pavement were selected for repair - granite and concrete paving. The granite will be located mainly in the squares "Garibaldi" and "Slaveykov", and for the rest, the concrete pavement will be used. Regarding the criticism of the renovation in front of the temple on Graf Ignatiev Str, the chief architect said the project was extremely conservative in terms of color. In this way, the focus will be on the building itself.
