Wizz Air Luggage Policy Changes From November 1

The aviation line Wizz Air will implement a new luggage policy starting November 1, 2018. The change aims to quicken the process of passengers getting on board and prevent delays.

Wizz Air passengers will now be able to carry luggage that is 40x30x20 cm, which is approximately as big as a small purse or a laptop. Small briefcases and larger bags won't be allowed. Passengers that want to carry larger luggage will have to pay extra. The service starts at €7 per kilo.

Wizz's marketing director Johan Eidhagen also stated that the policy change is also brought on by the tendency of passengers to travel with a smaller amount of luggage for a short duration. Wizz Air is mostly popular for these kinds of fast, cheap flights. Recently, the company stopped its flights from Sofia to Varna.
