41 People Broke Out of Jail in Bulgaria for 2017

The General Directory of Bulgaria’s National Police released some curious statistics about crime in the country.

The Director of GD “National Police”, Hristo Terziiski released the information to the public. The police searched for 317 fugitives from the law in 2017.  41 people escaped from prison, a number lower than 2016’s 66.

Bulgaria saw some horrific crime news during the last year – an 89-year-old man shot his wife. Another odd shooting happened when a 6-year-old child allegedly shot a man at a restaurant, though the details surrounding the case remain murky to this day.
