Driver Caught in Ribnovo, Bulgaria on Four Different Drugs

In the Bulgarian village Ribnovo, municipality of Gurmen, a 21 year old driver was stopped for a routine check. After a sobriety test, it was established that the driver was operating his vehicle under the influence of four different drugs – methamphetamines, amphetamines, opiates and cocaine. The driver has been detained in the police station in Devin for twenty four hours.

This arrest is one of the many that have taken place during a large-scale national anti-drug campaign. Traffic policemen have been instructed to specifically check drivers for possession and use of illegal substances while operating a motor vehicle.
