Bulgaria can now export herbal and plant products to Vietnam

After the Ministry of agriculture and foods in Bulgaria and the Ministry of agriculture in Vietnam signed a Memorandum of understanding on April 7th 2014, a new step towards partnership has been made. Thanks to a certificate issued by the MoA in Vietnam, Bulgarian growers can now export their produce to the Asian country. The certificate allows the exportation of fodder, flour, seeds, grains and flowers.

This newly acquired certificate will act as leverage in further negotiations on trade. One particular trade deal our government is interested in is becoming a source of meat product imports. The year 2017 marks 25 years since the creation of the Intergovernmental Bulgarian- Vietnamese Commission for Economic Cooperation.
