Earlier today, a bus from the Varna Police Department wrecked into two other vehicles while driving on one of the town's main roads. After the collision, the bus also turned over on its side.

Who Bumps the Bumpmen?

During the early hours of December 28, two Varna vans received a late Christmas present by the police in the form of a car crash. The incident occurred on the crossing of two main boulevards – “Tsar Osvoboditel” and “Osmi Primorski Polk”. Nobody was seriously injured, but 4 people received slight fractures, including the driving of the police bus.

The reasons are still unknown, but it’s likely a simple accident. However, Police vehicles in Bulgaria are known for driving wildly and with little regard for road rules. Incidents aren’t as uncommon as they should be.

Recently, four policemen were arrested for involvement in fuel-stealing schemes with public funds.
